A lot of my soundtracks are naturally more dramatic or evocative, and I'd long wanted to try the opposite kind of bright, innocent and happy feel.
Seeing these images for the first time, it was a production appearing to call for exactly that mood. And unlike others I've worked on that require ongoing iterative – or drastic – revisions for a variety of reasons (some wearing a suit), this ones first draft was also its last.
